Kings of Leon Release New Album, Announce Tour
American rock band Kings of Leon have released their eighth studio album, "Can We Please Have Fun," and announced a world tour in support of the record.
The album release comes five years after their previous effort, "WALLS." The band has also announced a 2023 world tour, which will kick off in May and include stops in North America, Europe, and Oceania.
The band achieved initial success in the United Kingdom with nine top 40 singles and two BRIT Awards in 2008. They have since gone on to win four Grammy Awards and sell over 20 million albums worldwide.
The new album features 13 tracks, including the singles "The Bandit," "100,000 People," and "Waste a Moment." The band has described the album as their most "personal" and "introspective" work to date.
The world tour will begin on May 10th in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and will wrap up on October 14th in Perth, Australia. Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday, March 3rd.
